Today Makes me Happy- February 1, 2014

Ladies and gentleman, this is my last post as an 18 year old.

First of all, Happy February!!! I love this month. I don't know why, I just love the general feeling of the month. It makes me happy :)

Also, it's hard to type when your nails are wet. I've got a design on them inspired by Anna from Frozen! Found it online and it makes me happy :)

I don't have a whole lot to report about today. I woke up happy and rested. I wrote the first half of my first draft of my Writing paper. Then I went to the grocery store and CVS with Kate, Jinny, and Kieryn.  It was quite nice!! I liked exploring the grocery store!!

I finished the second half of my writing paper in between talking with Jinny, and I thought I was done with homework. Then I got an email from my Sociology professor learning I had another article to read... *sigh*

I started reading it, but got distracted by painting my nails and hanging out with Kieryn and Jinny and Ana and Nina.

Then I decided... you know what. I finished all of my homework except for that one article. I can read that article on Monday. Tonight, I'm going to just hang out and enjoy the company of my friends.

We admired the cake that Kieryn made (and it was AMAZING!!!!), Jinny's showing Ana the weirdest video on YouTube ever, I'm doing my nails, and Frozen is playing in the lounge. It's a good night :)

More exciting information about Kieryn's cake- It was travel themed and she made it herself. She wants it to have a shout-out on the blog :)

So not much to report... but I feel happy. Tomorrow is going to be the best day ever :)

So... how does it feel, these last few moments of being 18?

It's odd... to be honest. I feel like on the inside, I'm still 16. 19 is such a big number that I'm having a weird time accepting that it's soon to be my age...

But at the same time, I'm ready and excited to be 19. I feel like it won't take long to accept it, even though it'll feel weird. It's like... I feel 19, and I've felt 19 for a while... but saying 19 is a totally new concept. At least I'm not 20, I guess!!

OH!! I got wonderful presents from home in my surprise care package!! Chocolate, a journal, and pajama pants, for instance. I also got gift cards from Grandma and Grandpa!!! THANK YOU ALL!!!! <3 I love you!!!!!!!

*sigh*... it's been a good day. I can't wait for tomorrow though. I get an excited attack of giddiness everytime I think about it. :) I hope your days have all been just as lovely :)
